How do I register for a blog / can I register and not have a blog?
Go to our registration page, where you’ll have to give a couple of details and agree to our terms of service. On the registration page you’ll be asked if you want a blog, or just a user account.
Does it cost anything to register on OxBlogger.com?
Nope. Nothing. OxBlogger.com is free to bloggers. That’s right - free, gratis, kostenlos. You’ll see advertising dotted about the site, and in one or two places on your blog also. This helps to cover the running costs of OxBlogger.com, but we’re always experimenting and evaluating our users’ experience. If you’d like to advertise on OxBlogger.com, then visit our advertising page.
What’s the address of my blog?
On the registration page you’ll be given a “Domain” option. So suppose you put “domain” in the box, then your blog address will be “http://domain.oxblogger.com”. You can also access this through the Settings > General menu in your WordPress dashboard.
How do I post on my new blog?
Once you’ve logged in you’ll see a grey menu bar with the OxBlogger.com logo in the corner. On the “My Blogs” menu choose your blog and then “New Post” or “Dashboard”. You’ll then be taken to the WordPress powered system where you can write to you heart’s content.
To what extent is my blog customizable?
We’re trying all the time to improve the service we provide to OxBloggers, and as such the OxBloggers.com site will constantly be evolving. You can keep up-to-date with the latest developments, posted on the OxBloggers.com blog. If you have an idea about a feature or service you’d like to see, then let us know.
I’m having problems with spam on my blog, what should I do?
