Oxon Carts AdvertWe’re pleased to promote Oxon Carts, Oxford’s rickshaw operators - offering fast, fun and green transport in the city:

If your family or friends are visiting Oxford, why not book them a tour of the University and City Centre with Oxon Carts? They can sit back and relax on a rickshaw, enjoying the narrow lanes and non-motorized areas of Oxford - seeing places just inaccessible to open-top bus tours! What’s more, there’s a fit, fun and friendly rider to talk to the whole way through.

There is complete flexibility to tailor tours to your particular requirements, so avoid or focus on any place you like. The tours can start and end at destinations of your choice, so why not finish your tour at a punt station? The Oxon Carts tour was featured in the 2009 Lonely Planet guide to England - book your tour early to avoid disappointment!

Oxon Carts is also looking for employees to act as rickshaw riders, starting part-time with a view to extending to full-time during the summer vacation. The work is fun, and you’re effectively being paid for a gym session, so it’s a perfect summer job. Riders can do extra training to give tours, or just focus on the regular passenger and delivery work. Pay is £7-8 per hour, plus tips.
